Oakwood of Devon offer European Engineered
Oak and Walnut hardwood flooring
throughout Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and
Dorset.
All our boards are 21mm thick in long lenghts
Fed up with smelly and dirty carpets from pets and visitors. Well more and more people are having hardwood flooring installed which is easy to clean and hygienic.
We at Oakwood use only the best Europeon oak either in solid or engineered boards with a thickness of 21mm for strenght.
All our installations have 50mm of insulation between the joists keeping heat in and cold out. Its no good looking at a beautiful oak floor and having cold feet.
Carpets and underlay give you insulation on top of your existing floor but take them away and there is only 20mm between cold air and you, now thats cold.
With our oak floors there is a total of 71mm, now thats warm.
Oak flooring can be installed either by taking up your old wooden floor or fixed to existing concrete floors.
We will then finish the surface with a Hardwax Oil to preserve and protect your beautiful new warm floor.
